Navigating These Unprecedented Times

We care deeply for those who are affected by what is going on in our world and communities right now.  We are praying for God’s help and wisdom as we navigate through this time together.  This is where you can find the most up-to-date info about our Sunday Services and other details as we move forward.

  • We will be singing congregationally in the Sunday services.
  • Every other pew (row) will be closed to ensure 6-foot social distancing.
  • Overflow seating  with live-streaming will be available in the Fellowship Hall if needed.
  • Ushers will personally seat everyone before the service to ensure 6-foot social distancing, and they will dismiss by rows at the close of service.
  • Boxes for Tithes/Offerings have been mounted at the exits of the Sanctuary.
  • “Fellowship” time inside the church building will resume at a later time. Please feel free to visit at a safe distance outside after the service.

Protecting the Most Vulnerable

  • The church leadership and church health team echo our Governor’s words in section 1 of her current public health proclamation: “I strongly encourage all vulnerable Iowans, including those with preexisting medical conditions and those older than 65, in all counties of the state to continue to limit their activities outside of their home, including their visits to businesses and other establishments and their participation in gatherings of any size and any purpose.”
  • All attenders are urged to remain home if any of the following is true:   -You are feeling sick
      -You have a fever
-You have experienced any of the symptoms of the COVID-19 virus in the past 14 days-You have knowingly been within 6 feet of someone who has a confirmed case of COVID-19 in the past 14 days.

Staying Connected
Our Church Leadership and Staff are here for you. We are working on ways to help our church family stay connected, and we encourage you to explore new ways to safely grow together in Christ-centered community while honoring social distancing practices. Leadership is busy evaluating ideas and plans for fall ministries during this difficult season of COVID-19. We continue to encourage you to reach out to one another through phone calls, outdoor visits, and by sending encouraging notes or cards.
